Island Golf - Miniature Golf, Dauphin Island

Pelican Watch offers a beautiful king suite, a peaceful queen bedroom, and plenty of beds in the bunk bedroom. A crib in its own quiet bedroom, along with a highchair, are provided for our tiniest guests. Don't worry about beach chairs or beach towels because we have you covered. We provide a beach towel for every guest. Your furry friend is covered too, with towels, sheets for the new furniture (because we all know they like the couch), and designated food and water bowls.
Because our family loves to cook our own seafood, the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Buy from the local seafood shop and enjoy the family time as you prepare your seafood fare. If turf is your preference, make use of the grill on our spacious, wrap around deck, enjoying the gorgeous water views as you grill your dinner. Be sure to keep a lookout for dolphins and, of course, pelicans! For an enjoyable way to cool off after a day of fun in the sun, use the provided ice cream maker to make your own dessert.
The soothing Mississippi Sound, with its gentle lapping waves, is right out our back door. If ocean waves are your preference, you can walk the four minutes (or drive) to the Gulf of Mexico. The designated Sehoy Street beach access is only .2 miles from the house. We provide parking passes for Sehoy Street beach access.

If you rent a golf cart from Island Time Cart Rentals, be sure to speak with Jennifer, the owner. Let her know you are vacationing at Pelican Watch, and she will give you a 10% discount!
Along with its sandy beaches and warm gulf surf, Dauphin Island also offers fishing charters, golf, mini golf, a bird sanctuary, the aquarium, and a ferry to the Fort Morgan side of the bay.
If you would like to know what local activities are scheduled on Dauphin Island during your stay, download the Dauphin Island App to your smart phone and look at the Calendar of Events.
If you enjoy fishing and would like the inside scoop on the local fishing holes, you might want to give this guy a call. We met Captain Tanner Deas at a local Dauphin Island restaurant. He not only does charter fishing, but also offers a land based guided fishing service. The phone number is 251-623-4205.
For fishing from our yard in the Mississippi Sound, or for fishing from the beach, you will need to purchase a Saltwater Recreational Trip License for $12.10.
For pier fishing then Cedar Point Pier may be for you. There is a required Pier Fishing License for $7.50 that you will need to purchase. Here is the link to Cedar Point Pier.

In our opinion, any day at the beach is a good day at the beach. However, we know that sometimes rain, wind, waves, or sunburn can keep you from those beautiful beaches. When that happens, here are a few backup plans.
